ABOUT ME

I grew up in Istanbul and moved to Edirne as a university student in 2000. I started working here as a research assistant in 2008. Istanbul is pretty close to where I live so I visit the place from time to time. Currently, I am doing a PhD in Solid State Physics and also lecturing current students.

I love music and dancing. When I was very little my mum used to dance to every beat she came across. By that time I felt really shy about that but now I know why she did that. Like I said I love dancing and I think I can Dance! I cant live without music. The only way I can understand that I am getting ill is by music. Its like an early warning system, if i cant listen then I am getting ill or I already am ill. Both dancing and music are the food for my soul.

I can tell I am a sportsman. When I was in collage I used to play Handball, Basketball and Soccer. Now I only have soccer left as I still play soccer for a local amateur team. We have 2 trainings during the week and games on sundays during the season.

I have TWO lovely dogs and 2 cats. A black labrador bitch and a chocolate boy. They are taking a great time of my life and I am very happy about that. They are really friendly and wont ever bite so do not be afraid.

I really love travelling but I think I am not doing enough. I have seen a big part of United Kingdom. I want to see Brazil a lot especially during the 2014 world cup. I also want to live there for a few years If I have the chance. I love listenning to brazilian music as I try to sing along.

Its really hard for one to talk about himself so I will try to cut it short. I am a very alive person full of energy. Very relaxed and easy-going. I dont get upset easily. I enjoy sincere people as I am very sincere with any. I would like to feel free while avoiding to disturb other people. I love humour. If I host someone I want him/her/them to feel home and free. I love my family and try to give the respect they deserve to others families. Sometimes I am very stubborn but my guests or my hosts do not know that =). Sometimes I love being alone and sometimes I love company. I love helping people by hosting and showing them around. I love to talk to people from different backgrounds and cultures (and notice that we have lots in common =) ). I love animals, I love green, I love waterfalls, I love the nature, I love swimming, I love singing, I love sunsets and sunrises, I love loud music. I guess I love many things. That will be all for now. I will update this column if I find out I love something thats worth letting you know of it.
