Overview
About Me
I'm only spending the next two months (mid August- mid October)in Birmingham, I'm not a local so probably not the best choice for a trip around the city
ABOUT ME
Hey, my name is Julia and I have been living and studying in Munich for 2 years now. I enjoy playing the oboe, skiing, also hiking during the summer months and of course I love travalling and getting to know all kinds of people, preferably from all over the world :-)
Whenever I manage to save a little money I spend it on travelling. So far I've been to South africa, New zealand, Australia, Singapore, the US, Czech Republic and most western European countries.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunatey I do not have a couch to offer you, but I'd be happy to spend some time with you, show you around Munich (the main attractions as well as less famous places where you get to meet the locals) and hopefully have you leaving with memories of this city that go beyond those of the average Oktoberfest-tourist

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sunset in Hokitika, NZ. One of the most breathtaking moments in my life, it was absolutely amazing!
Brushing my teeth on a very small and isolated island somewhere in the baltic sea (Sweden), watching the waves crushing agaist the rocks beneath my feet. One of these perfect moments when you realise that real luxury has nothing to do with money, but with a cheap, wet tent, cold feet in the morning after a rather sleepless night and the freedom to go wherever you want to go.
