no experience so far - though i have stayed on freinds couches!

Interests

I enjoy sports; cycling , tennis football - playing rather than watching.
I take an interest in politics - (the big issues) though my involvment as an activist has been limited.I write poetry (mostly )and am keen to start writing song lyrics .

Music, Movies, and Books

I like cool easy going jazz - Amy Winehouse ,Nina Simone ,Astrud Gilberto and the like . Also Opera
sinatra is a favourite too and I like Bowie .I actually love reading Shakespeare , I write poetry and especially like the poets of the thirties .Old black and white movies - these days the clips on youtube as I dont go to cinema often these days .I have read most of the cannon of western literature and find it mostly overrated with the exception of Robinson Crusoe and one or two other works . Shakespeare is in a different class and I love reading him .I love' Friends' - the TV series and stand up comedy .
I love poetry of all kinds .I rarely read out of pleasure these days and don't feel the need to fill in any gaps in my cultural cv !
I like european cinema - esp italian films of the fifties .Hollywood films from the same period occupy a special place in my heart but actually sitting through one would be a disappointing ordeal I reckon .
