ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! I am a 29-year-old social human being who loves culture, languages, media, politics and everything exciting life has to offer. I am an interaction designer, who took a turn into academia and currently aiming for a PhD in media technology. I teach courses in innovation, design & creativity, speak fluent swedish, english and german and as a person I am quite organised, outgoing and (hopefully) fun to be with. Probably worth mentioning that I am married to a Swede and German myself but pretty much rooted within Swedish culture and habits by now. Nice to meet you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to occasionally use Couchsurfing as an alternative to the quite stiff and demanding airbnb options which are around. I am open to have people around here in Stockholm when time allows it and see this somewhat as a very nice way to give and take.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just good experiences so far, met fun people and had good conversations while surfin' in Sweden, Germany and Spain so far. I've been a member since 2010 (and just started to get active again).

MOVIES / TV Really depending on my mood. Sometimes fantasy or sci-fi, or action or romance or serious stuff. The occasional good documentary or then all girly rom-com nonsense and Jane Austen binge watching. Mostly into TV-series right now (like who isn't?) current favourites include Mr. Robot, Silicon Valley, OITB, Grace and Franky and then of course GoT and Doctor Who.

MUSIC Swedish influenced good singer-songwriter stuff, handmade music, instrumental & classical music as well as choir pieces. Good rythms' and danceable stuff. I think it depends on the place and the vibe!

BOOKS I love Fantasy-, historical-, future-, fiction-, thinkabout und reality-books.

I left everything I knew a couple of times already and by that discovered new places and spaces all by myself.

I can give tips how to learn Swedish in less than three months. I am also pretty active in the maker communities & a solid networker - so let's build & design stuff together. Or let's just talk about kind of everything over a coffee or a glass of white wine.
