About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn all the things, see all the places and meet all the people!
ABOUT ME
Fun-Loving, helpful, easy to get along with. Ready for adventures!
PHILOSOPHY
Don't take things too seriously. I try not to let anything upset me too much. Similarly, I try my best to understand how other people feel about any situation I'm involved in or that I witness. Both negative and positive -- if I meet someone that is really happy with their life, I can usually learn from them!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few of my friends have hosted CouchSurfers, and they have all been AWESOME! When I get my own place (not a dorm) I want to host my own Surfers. I haven't had a chance to go Surfing yet myself, but I really want to!
Interests
I'm in an improvisational comedy troupe, and I LOVE IT! I enjoy watching people and finding humor in the things that we all take for granted. I also enjoy math, computer science and board games!!

Music, Movies, and Books
Neal Stephenson's Snowcrash is absolutely fantastic! When I was younger I read a ton of Douglas Adams and Piers Anthony. As far as movies go, I love Despicable Me!!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This one's a tough one. I will answer a slightly different question, and relate the story of an amazing individual I met somewhat on accident.
I was going camping in the woods with a few friends, and we trekked a little ways in to a campground. After setting up camp, we went for a short hike further into nature, and found a large tent. I went and talked to the guy who was living there. He was a hot-shot real estate agent for a number of years, until his dad died when he was around 40. He realized that he didn't have any meaning in his life, and he decided to GO LIVE IN THE WOODS FOR A YEAR.
By the time we got there, he was pretty set up. He had a solar panel to power a camcorder so he could record his thoughts (he was planning on writing a book), and to power a water pump. He had dug out a hole in the ground and lined it with a tarp, then filled it with water. He had a copper tube that went from the hole down under his campfire and back into the hole, and he connected the pump to it. So he made a hot tub. In the woods. He seemed like he could pretty much do anything. Yeah, I was pretty inspired.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach various topics in math/computer science. I worked as a faculty member at a math camp, and I have a ton of tutoring experience! I would be interested in receiving dancing, cooking or bartending lessons :)
