My Name is Becky, i'm 25 and studied something with art and design at the hamburg university of applied Sciences. Now i study at the school of life. I'm a photographer and like to make films. i enjoy boardsports, cycling and collect old cameras ! meat sucks, but i dont judge others for their eating Habits.. Even better i am willing to cook you super delicious vegi food. Yay. In 2013 and 2014, I spent a semester abroad in the United States at the California State University, Long Beach, focusing on Photography and Film. After this semester, I took a two month hiatus from my studies and drove across California, all the while living out of my car. In 2014 i lived on an island in Nicaragua to work on my series “Hangover Island”. Travel is my passion and I enjoy the growth and change experienced when leaving my comfort zone.
Sometimes i dance like an idiot and sometimes i just like to sit around drinking iced coffee watching people. My Life sometimes feels like a pretty adventureous movie and there always is some kind of a background song. Since a few years i travel like a crazy person, did spent only 6 months a year at home and during the winter i take off to discover the world. I saw the good and the ugly sides of traveling. Also i learned to appreciate home and to always focus on my personal goals: learning new things, being nice to other people, haveing a bad ass time and becoming a better person. :)
Couchsurfing is the best thing ever and helped me to connect with the best people all over the world. Thanks for that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love couchsurfing so much, i made a supporting film for it, you find on my website. it changed me and my life in a awesome way and when life gets too much here, i pack my things in a bag, leave the building and go somewhere. without CS, that would not be possible.
