Hi, it's Burak,

Exploring new places and meeting people from different cultures listening to their life stories is so nice. I had the chance to experience life abroad during my Erasmus exchange in Poland, but I didn’t use Couchsurfing back then. I now see it as the perfect way to continue cultural exchange and connection. It is incredible to experience life through the eyes of locals.

I enjoy open water swimming, wandering around the streets, hearing languages I don't know, discovering the hidden side of a city. For me, travel is not just about the places but also the people and stories that make them special.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have swim from kartal to Prince Island (büyükada) with couple of swimmers before sunrise in istanbul, when we were in the middle the sun had risen behind istanbul, magnificent moment ☀️
