About Me

Hi! I’m Boris — born in Chile, moved to Australia in my early 20s, and now I call it home. I started travelling and using Couchsurfing when I was very young. I took a long break, but now I’m back and excited to reconnect with the community.

I’m open-minded, progressive by nature, and passionate about exploring new places and meeting people from different cultures. I’m easy-going, respectful, clean, and always happy to share good conversations, music, or a meal.

I’m a teacher and have taught primary, secondary, and adult learners in both Chile and Australia. Outside of work, I enjoy beaches, museums, the gym, and discovering local neighbourhoods.

Music is a big part of my life — I play the piano, a bit of guitar, I sing, and I love trying out new instruments from time to time. I speak Spanish and English and always enjoy learning and improving.

I use Couchsurfing to connect with people, make friends around the world, and experience places in a more authentic way. Happy to help, contribute, and be a considerate guest. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I love connecting with people in a genuine and human way. I started using the platform when I was very young, and it completely changed how I experience travel. After taking a long break, I’m back because I miss the community, the conversations, and the chance to see places through the eyes of locals.

For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about finding a place to stay — it’s about cultural exchange, sharing stories, learning from others, and making friendships around the world. I enjoy meeting open-minded people, discovering new perspectives, and creating memorable experiences together.
