I am actively hopeful. Encountering new people and places? Yes please! I thrive on new and challenging experiences. I have been known to sleep in a tent in my yard for extended periods of time when I am too busy to travel. I especially love being out-of-doors, engaged in any of the following activities: running, hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, cross country skiing, biking, or snowshoeing.

My surfing experiencing have been nothing short of fabulous--hospitality, cultural exchange and friendship abound.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

AMAZING! I couchsurfed through France and Spain, and the unparalled hospitality of my hosts has got me hooked. I can't wait to couchsurf again, but until then I'm returning the favor with my own couch. I am still friends with some of the lovely surfers who have graced my place with their presence thus far, and I can't wait to meet more.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love to read. Anything and everything (especially creative non-fiction). "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" made me laugh and "The Desert Highway" made me cry, but I can't decide which I liked better. In terms of music, I enjoy a wide array: The Weepies, Sigur Ros, Kate Nash, Halloween Alaska, Deas Vail, Daft Punk, Ingrid Michaelson, MGMT, Ratatat, Jose Gonzalez, Angels and Airwaves, Copeland, Death Cab for Cutie, Frou Frou, Jeremy Messersmith, Loney Dear, Nickel Creek, Freelance Whales.
