I’m on Couchsurfing to meet new people who share my interests.

Intereses

When I’m in the city, I like to try out new bars (I really like cocktails and craft beer) and restaurants, and go out dancing if I have the energy (I often have work on weekends but my weekdays are more flexible). I try to watch comedy shows when there are shows in my area. When out of the city, I like to hike, skin dive, scuba dive, and am trying to learn how to surf. In my downtime I enjoy watching films, reading fiction, doing yoga, and I recently got into Brazilian jiu jitsu.

Música, películas y libros

My favorite musician is Erykah Badu and my favorite band is Beach Fossils. My favorite movies are The Shining, Ali: Fear Eats the Soul, Wristcutters: A Love Story, and a ton more that I can’t think of at the moment. My favorite writer is Toni Morrison, and I love Marjane Satrapi too for graphic novels.

I hope to share what I know from living and working in Makati almost my whole life. I try to be outdoorsy as much as possible (especially when it comes to hiking or being in the ocean) and would love to share my weekend trips out of the city with others. I’m also a professional food writer and always enjoy company when trying new restaurants or food experiences. I’m really concerned with sustainability and would like to discover how other cultures approach sustainability in their own countries.

As a Filipino, I show my love through food! I love sharing the flavors that our country has to offer with new friends. I’m also a bit of a neat freak so you can count on me to pick up the slack. I am interested in learning about other cultures and sharing what I can of my own.
