ABOUT ME
Welcome to Nairobi!
Hi there! I’m Bea, and I’m so excited to meet you! I live in Nairobi, a vibrant city that offers a mix of adventure, culture, and history. I look forward to sharing it all with you!
About Me
I am deeply passionate about serving others and making a difference. My life’s mission is to support the less privileged in our society, including communities in the slums of Nairobi, rural villages, street children, and prisoners. Through missions with different churches worldwide, I have had the honor of touching lives, especially women, and bringing hope to those in need.
The reason this work is so close to my heart is that I understand what it means to have little. I grew up in a poor background and had to do menial jobs at a tender age to educate myself. Those experiences shaped who I am today and gave me the drive to uplift others who face similar struggles.
On a personal note, I am married to a wonderful American husband who works in the USA. While I wait for my immigrant papers to be processed, I continue my work here in Kenya, living out my calling to serve and make an impact.
At home, I care for a 3-year-and-11-month-old baby I picked from the slums, whose parents are battling drug addiction. My nephews often visit during school holidays, filling the house with energy and laughter, while my firstborn son inspires us all with his dedication to basketball. My faith is central to everything I do, and I actively serve God in my church.
About My Home
My home is warm, welcoming, and family-friendly, located in the heart of Nairobi. It’s a perfect spot to explore the city, with easy access to public transport and attractions like Nairobi National Park, vibrant markets, and cultural hubs.
I offer a safe and cozy space, and my home is filled with the joy of family life. I’m happy to share meals, provide tips on exploring Nairobi, and even join you in discovering the city when I have time.
Why Host?
For me, hosting is about much more than offering a place to stay—it’s about building connections, exchanging cultures, and sharing stories. I also love giving guests the chance to contribute to our community outreach efforts.
If you’re interested, you can join me in visiting slum communities, spending time with street children, or bringing hope to those in prison. It’s a wonderful way to make your journey impactful and memorable.
