ABOUT ME

On 17/8/2014, I left Melbourne with a one way ticket to Berlin.
My previous visits to Germany had always been very positive, and so it seemed a great choice as my gateway to what i consider the next chapter of my life. I'm a bit sciencey & I generally love chatting about anything in that realm (as well as most realms for that matter). I enjoy the process of cooking, eating and drinking with company, and enjoy spending my time walking along the Elbe, weather it be while listening to podcasts or hanging out with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally tried couch surfing for the very simple reason that I knew i would travel in the future, and it seemed like it would be a good option for being social abroad. I would say my first experiences on couchsurfing were not only positive, but they were also made the trip more interesting. Since then, I have also had a couple of visitors before I left for overseas. Some of the people i met on couchsurfing turned out to be good friends which i now maintain long term contact with, and indirectly couchsurfing has contributed to the majority of my social structure in Germany. By continuing to participate in couchsurfing, I want to continue to meet great people and share experiences with one and other.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cave + shipwreck diving, flew a plane in Germany, hiked the Canadian Rockies, hitch-hiked from Romania to Germany, met the band members of "Muse".
