ABOUT ME

This is always the hardest part. Let's see. I'm a 23 year old student who took too long to finish his Bachelor's degree. But in the time it took me to decide what course I wanted to take with my life, I was able to plan my journeys/studies abroad. I ended up in southern Germany at a wonderful university on Lake Bodonsee. I'm taking my time in Europe as an opportunity to better myself as an individual and as a part of a community. Aside from that, I'm an eager learner and explorer. I tend to be the observer in most cases until the right person, face, or words can pull me in. I consider myself to be a compassionate and caring person. I love people. I love animals. I'm a vegetarian. Ask me a question, any question if you want to know more about me.

PHILOSOPHY

Be good to people. Be good to animals. Don't compromise who you are. Be open even when you don't want to be. Let go of suffering.

This will change as I will. I'm imperfect and I don't always follow my own philosophy or advice, but I've found these things to be the most important.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've actually not used Couchsurfing before. My roommates hosted a pair of friends a couple of years ago in our place in California. I was able to meet the two guys and spend some time with them. They only spent one night, so it wasn't much time together. Nonetheless, this provided some sort of impetus to explore Couchsurfing further.

Interests

Reading, writing, creating, exploring, traveling, listening, being, becoming, growing, moving, loving.

Or simply put I thoroughly enjoy reading books, watching films, visiting new places, meeting new people, taking part in any activity that involves animals.

Books: Jack Kerouac, Henry Miller, Phillip K. Dick. Phillip Roth, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Kurt Vonnegut, Charles Bukowski, Mark Z. Danielewski. These are just the one's I tend to read the most.
