Hi, I am Beatrice and I am so happy to be here as a couchsurfer! I am definetly a traveller and a full Life lover! I consider my self to be an energetic, curious, smily but also peaceful, respectful and openminded person.
I did my first long experience away from home 6 years ago when I moved from my hometown in Italy to the beautiful countryside of the south of England where I worked as an aupair for one 1 year. After that I stayed away from home since and I mainly lived in UK (Brighton) and then Spain (Ibiza).
I travelled a bit (let’s say as a tourist) for the last few years, China, United States, Africa, Dominican Republic but also around Europe to mention some. Now I am feeling that I am getting back the bug of becoming the real traveller, the one that chases new experiences, enjoying an unplanned day and sharing beauty, difficulties, unique moments with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very curious about the “Couchsurfing” lifestyle and I can’t wait to start this new journey.
I am a respectful person, always open to meet new people and I love different situations, new enviroments and things I don’t know.
“I always say: If you want something in your life that you don’t have, you have to start doing something that you’ve never done”...
I’ve been a host for my airbnb apartment in UK for many years and I know well the beauty of staying in a place that doesn’t have a “cold” hostel/hotel feeling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Unfortunately I haven’t discover the pleasure of reading until a year ago when I had more time for myself.
Since then I can surely say I am becoming a book eater! At the moment I am immersed in a book about a young english guy travelling to India in the ‘70, he says he is looking for his spiritual path and I am loving it.

Pretty much all I am interested in is wellness, positive feelings, adventures and emotions, nature and people.

I am a fan of independent films and everything that looks intriguing. Music? I never get bored of the fantastic Pink Floyd and I like a lot contemporary music in general. I am a dancer and I can’t live without music.

Movies: The million dollar hotel, Only lovers left alive and Babylon but also Amelie to mention some.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on an Air Baloon! I went to Disneyland Paris! I walked on the Great Wall of China! I Shaved my head by myself!
And much more...
Really I think life is always full of amazing things and I am pretty good at finding them every day of my life! :-)
