Hello ✨ My name is Bea and I am originally from a small town in Italy 🇮🇹 I moved abroad several years ago, and I have been living in different countries ever since 🇩🇰🇫🇷🇳🇱

I love food, dancing and sports. My favorite thing to do while travelling is tasting new foods — I would literally try anything once!!

I love to go to techno events, but I also enjoy afro beats or jazz vibes. In general, I just like discovering new music and artists. I have to admit that I am not yet the biggest fan of reggaeton, but it's growing on me :)

Recently I have gotten into hiking (quarter life crisis?). This is one of the reasons why I decided to come to Central Asia! I have been craving more time in nature, and I am trying to build my confidence hiking solo. I am also trying to get back into rock climbing after a 10 years break.

What else? I am also an animal lover, and I am particularly fond of dogs 🐶

ABOUT HOSTING: I would love to host you but I am currently travelling for a year. Would love to do it in the future though, once I am settled and have my own apartment 🫶🏻

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and getting to know new places from the perspective of people who live there.

Show me your favorite bar, park or quirky spot in town! It doesn't have to be the most important monument or a key landmark. Take me to your local supermarket, to your hairdresser or one of your friend's houses. I'll do the same for my guests :)

If you don't have time, that is also fine. After years of solo travelling, I am very comfortable visiting new places by myself. I will still appreciate any tips you have to share though :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a bit of everything, it really depends on my mood. If I am at the beach, give me some caribbean beats. If I am taking the metro home from work, I prefer slow indie songs. But ok, I will come clean — I am a bit of a swiftie too… I can’t help it that her songs are so catchy!

As for books, I have read a lot of fantasy novels growing up. Nowadays, I try to pick stories from different places in the world. One of the lasts I have read is Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi.

I don't think I watch many movies anymore. I tend to prefer tv shows. But I am still a big fan of 2000s rom-coms 🫶🏻

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a really social person and I like learning new languages. I have practiced French a lot in the last couple of years, and now I am trying to get to a decent level in German. But it doesn't matter which language you speak, I always enjoy picking up a few phrases in the language of the places I visit.

Because I am traveling Central Asia at the moment, I am currently learning Russian. If you have the patience to practice the basics with me that would be awesome 🤩
