ABOUT ME

I'm currently a university instructor, teaching expository writing. I studied anthropology with a specific focus on the Middle East, women's agency, and nationalism.

I'm a huge nerd so the majority of my time is divided between video games, movies, and binge watching Netflix shows.

While visiting Jordan, I walked through the Crescent valley until I was standing before the Treasury at Petra. I literally cried, because I'd always dreamed of visiting it. Explored the areas surrounding. Was proposed to by a Bedouin kid. Then I road a horse back to the entrance just like Indiana (Henry Jones Jr) Jones. Magic.

And the next day I got heatstroke. Not so magic.
