ABOUT ME

Hey hey heyyy! I'm Bea, a 23 year old medical student from Madrid during the winter, and a world nomad during the summer.

Currently on a gap year from studying. Traveling a lot, taking the time to do what I want, loving it.

I drink a lot of tea, eat a lot of plants, laugh a lot, love a lot and walk/bike as far as my legs will take me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, because I live on the road, I cannot host CSers, but I'm up for language exchange, discovering the area with visitors or locals...whatever!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I began meeting some surfers staying at friends' houses, and then took a leap of faith and began my own CS adventure. Travelled through Mexico and the US for almost 3 months meeting the most amazing people thanks to this network of fantastic travellers and hosts. It would not have been anywhere as incredible as it was without couch surfing!

Interesses

I love this planet and its dwellers, and anything that lets me enjoy either. So outdoor sports, arts in any shape or form, meeting people, partying, (vegetarian) cooking and anything related are high on my list.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I really enjoy books and movies, and I'm not particularly picky with them. I'm a huge bookworm! I like Noah Gordon, Khaled Hosseini, Alice Munro, Jonathan Franzen, George Orwell, Tarantino, Woody Allen, Sam Mendes, Martin Scorsese, Guy Ritchie, Pixar movies...
Mostly anything that has to do with human psychology and such. People fascinate me.

As for music, I tend to drift more towards the indie, rock , classical and electronic side of the spectrum, but I enjoy almost everything. And if it's live it adds like a thousand bonus points!

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Last summer, I hitchhiked with a friend across the US for a month. It was by far one of the best ways I could have ever imagined of meeting the most diverse people, and sharing great experiences.
A couple of summers ago I got the chance to go to the Andes and climb Mt. Cotopaxi (5897m). Reaching the summit after several hours of climbing through glaciers, cracks and such was an incredible feeling, of self-realisation and connection with nature to say the least.
