To host and reconnect with the world outside of school
I (the guy on the right in the photo) am living with two room mates, Young (middle in photo) and Sam (left in photo), and we are all third year students in electrical engineering. I am here in Halifax from Calgary, Alberta. Sam is from rural Nova Scotia where is family lives in a great big property where they host an annual music festival. Young is from China and is doing a minor in German.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed and hosted both couches and events but have been dormant on the website for a few years now.
My first experience my host took me and two other people out on his boat for some crab fishing. We caught quite a few and so for breakfast I had some freshly caught blue crab, it was delicious!
We are all in engineering so we are interested in science and technology.
Young: I can talk a lot when comes to food and yes, I make delicious food which is verified by all my friends. I love to try new things and I LOVE fencing, if you're as well, please bring your sword with you. Looking forward to meeting you in person.
Sam: Music, books, climbing, and tinkering with electronics are all things I love to do. I play percussion, so if you travel with an instrument I'm up for jamming.
Me: I enjoy outdoor activities like rock climbing, hiking and camping. My music genres of choice are: rock, jazz, hard rock, metal, folk, world and anything with very strong instrumentals. I also like to play board games and the most childish games get me excited.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
30 hour famine, gone on stage a couple of times, white water rafted, stood at the top of a mountain in Banff... and some to be announced.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am interested in learning about modern technology, being that I am in engineering, expanding my musical library, cooking and peoples views on life.
