ABOUT ME

I am French.(french is my first language) I grew up in Switzerland, and France until I graduated from french High School. I then came to the US to learn English.
I graduated from college in the US, and then established myself here. I have a baby girl, she is 26. :D
I have had different occupations like teaching horseback riding to children and working with people who have challenges in their life.
I like working for myself because i have more freedom that way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new at Couch Surfing for now, but yes, I would like to participate plenty.
For now I would love to host travelers, and show them our beautiful area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend and I went to Gaspesie. I was touched by others spontaneous kindness and generosity.
Staying at others places rekindled my interest for cooking. I have been cooking dinners every night since I came back!!

Interests

I love music,arts, anything that is creative.
I love to garden, kayak, swim, hike in summer. In winter, I enjoy skiing, snow-shoeing, skating, knitting, and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to love reading classics in French like Balzac and Zola, for poetry: Baudelaire, and Emily Dickinson. For a lighter side: David Sedaris.
I watch about every movie that comes out if it is not too violent. I don't like downers.
Music is always welcome in my life. I admire all musicians

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went abroad from France to the US and stayed there for 30 years! I have an amazing daughter; she is beautiful and smart.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to take time and couch surf all over the world. I would love to hear from other couch surfers who have already done that.
