I've used couchsurfing on and off for about 5 years and have always had positive experiences. I used it during a year to travel before college, and pretty much every summer since then. Next stop is Kenya until school starts back up again! I'm studying International Politics and Nonprofit Management so always enjoying seeing new places and meeting new people.

I typically use couch surfing when I first arrive to a new place because it helps me get to know an awesome local who can help me sort of guide my experience and give me any advice on what to do and not to do in a place.
