Hi there! My name's Becca and I've been living in Spain and then China for the past year. Back to university in Nottingham, UK, in October, so just want to squeeze in a bit more exploring! I'm very easy going, up for a good night out but also wanting to see the culture of a daytime. I love museums, architecture, art galleries and musical events. I'm a language student, so my Spanish is to a good level, my French not as good but able to hold a conversation, and I'm getting there with my Chinese! Languages are my main passion, but I also love music and getting involved in social justice projects.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I was living in China a Spanish friend and I did some travelling. We used couch surfing a couple of times and I fell in love with the idea. We met some really kind and interesting people along the way, and now that I'm travelling again I'd love to do couch surfing some more. It's such a great way to learn about other cultures and fully immerse yourself in a place.

This is too difficult! Music is impossible to pick one, but I love David Bowie, The Beatles and more modern stuff such as Florence and the Machine, Carla Bruni and Manuchou.

I would say one of my favourite experiences I found inspiring was volunteering to assist pilgrims to Lourdes when I was younger. Im not particularly religious, but the spiritual feel of the place felt amazing.

I can share language skills in English, Spanish, intermediate French and basic to intermediate mandarin. I also play a bit of piano and guitar, and if you're interested in socialism I can offer a lively discussion in that area!
