我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Maybe 5 years ago, my mom hosted a couch surfer from Europe and we showed her around some cool spots in LA and it was a blast. After I spent a few years living in the city, I have since taken a few family members and friends to various hidden gems and popular attractions throughout the city. I love showing them something amazing I found at some point or another and showing them my favorite restaurants.
When traveling, I would love a similar experience. I want to see what hidden gems the locals have found, and what restaurants and bars they favor. I would also love to check out favorite local hikes.

兴趣

I love hiking, taking pictures, live music/music festivals, and FOOD. I am a huge fan of Thai food, Korean food, Vietnamese food, poke, and BBQ.
I'm not much of a drinker, but I love a good cocktail. I enjoy speakeasies and tiki bars.

TV&Movies: I love following great TV dramas like shameless, under the dome, sopranos, and also fun shows like friends, sex and the city, the office, etc. I like comedy and drama movies mostly.

Music: I love music! I love live music and music festivals of almost any sort. I'm mostly big on underground hip hop and house music(deep house, UK house, old school house) but I also love oldies, jazz, and some alternative, indie, and acoustic rock. My Spotify playlist is definitely all over the place lol.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I worked as a camp leader at a kids outdoor science camp. I had such a blast with my group of kids... They taught me a lot, I tried to teach them, we played games, got lost in nature together, gazed at the stars, did silly skits in front of the camp fire. It was really rewarding and really special.
