ABOUT ME

I suppose I have been described as a bubbly, giggling wacky, tree-loving enviro geek at times...I try to be as relaxed as possible in life (doesnt always work ;) ) and enjoy life as much as I can.

I really like meeting new people and hearing what they have to say about their life and experiences or just having a giggle over something silly. These next 6months I am travelling with less plans than usual (for a change)and taking my time to enjoy people and places i come across before heading back home to work and save some $$ for some other dreams I want to grow.

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is short, the art is long, opportunity elusive, experiment dangerous and judgement difficult" (Hyppocrates 431 BC) - I belive that every moment of life is precious and we should explore what life has to offer as much as possible...including enjoying the simple things and spending time with our loved ones...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few lovely people stay in my share house a few times in Brissy (even tho I was not on this website at the time). It was great, met some lovely people, had some lovely conversations and enjoyed making new people feel welcome at our house. I also couchsurfed in Athens with a mate, awesome set up, but only for two days, would have liked to do more couch surfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ohhh difficult one...

I saw a grizzly bear two weeks ago in Banff, on dusk in a creek bed. That was sooo amazing and so very unexpected. Never dreamed I'd ever see anything like that, I was super scared but will never forget it...after that we were lucky enough to see a golden eagle and coyote...what an afternoon!

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH
Mmmm what can i teach... I make a mean spicy chorizo italian pasta that I cooked a lot when I lived in italy, it will make you feel very happy inside! Yes, yes like most, having spent too much time in hostels i do know way too many drinking games for my own good! I also know quite a bit about aussie natural environment - studied some interesting stuff at uni.
LEARN
I would love to learn italian - just learnt a little when i was in italy - loved the sound of it. Although most languages are fascinating! Also would love to learn how to ice skate and ski/snowboard - havent done either!!!
