ABOUT ME

I am currently in graduate school for social work. I am interested in current events and international relations. I enjoy traveling and have stayed within the States for the past year, but loved visiting West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer! I enjoy anything outdoors, but also love a cup of tea and a good book on any given evening.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in order to understand what my mission is and to determine how my passion and mission come together to better understand myself and those around me. I believe that everyone we encounter has something of value to teach us.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am beginning to explore how I can participate in this community, by first becoming involved through visiting others. I would like the opportunity to see how others are hosting and look forward to doing the same.

I have only had one experience, but look forward to the opportunity to enhance and explore the world through this network and extend the same opportunity to others.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Books - right now textbooks and women's studies. This changes weekly as I continue to explore many passions.

Music - anything with a good beat that I can attempt to dance to.

Movies - I'm lucky if I make it through previews.

Something amazing that I have done is taken the opportunity to move across the States and the world when it has been given to me. I have lived in West Africa, NY, and now the Washington DC area.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I would like to share my knowledge of living in the States in both small communities and urban centers. I would also enjoy an opportunity to share my perspective of American culture with others who live outside the States.

I would expect the same from those I interact with and will keep my mind open to the possibilities of great conversation.
