ABOUT ME

These days I'm living in a lovely little place with my partner Zack in Tucson AZ. I've got a handful of jobs including organizing arts events, carrying food around, acting silly, and facilitating arts-based social justice workshops. Couple years back I completed the big project of concluding my undergraduate studies. I have an interdisciplinary degree called Social Artistry- I studied social theory, understanding systems of oppression, and strategies to resist and work for justice. Also performing and creative arts. I am spending the year working on my circus skills and responding boldly to my creative callings. I am acutely aware of the privilege I receive as an educated white woman that allows me to move so freely in the world and pursue and actualize my dreams as I do. I am determined to put my privilege, my joy, and my art to work to dismantle systems of racism, patriarchy, heterosexism and economic exploitation. I seek co-conspirators far and wide. I love to laugh. I love to be foolish. I love to be in the woods. I love to be in cities. I love to make art with people. I love learning to do things that at first seem impossible. I love working with youth and helping them realize that they can do things that at first seem impossible. I love loving people.

In July I will be riding my motorcycle from AZ to WA. I will need some places to rest my motor and my head.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have very often been the blessed recipient of other's generosity. I have also had the opportunity to be generous. I enjoy both!
