I'm currently travelling across Australia with a working Holiday Visa. I worked studied and worked in Perth for eight months.

I am a young student, who loves travelling, reading and exploring new places. I am friendly, like going out but also stay in a fair bit. I clean up after myself and go in and out of the house quietly.

When I return home I will be finishing my fourth year of university and then hopefully travel some more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing in the hopes of meeting some locals while travelling during the rest of my time in Australia, and will in turn offer up a place to others when I return home or at least give some advice on things to see in Vancouver. I have found that you gain more from travelling when you meet the locals rather than when you only stay in hostels and I think that others share the same view and this is a great way to meet more people and get their perspectives of the places they live in.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading fantasy novels, some of my favourites include Rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon, the Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings, and more.

I have a really random taste in music from some of the top 50s to Rise Against and Linkin Park, Kesha, and Taylor Swift and then to Grouplove and other new bands that I have found whilst in Australia.

Some of my favourite movies are Disney, but I also love the Transformers movies, Star Trek, and science fiction movies as well as action movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that I've done recently was go to Cambodia by myself on a tour for three weeks because I didn't have any exams during the exam period at the university I was studying at in Australia. I had an absolute blast and can't wait to return one day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love snowboarding, learning new sports including surfing, and I play (field) hockey so if I had the chance to share those sports with anyone I would love to do that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer any hosts some Maple syrup, a friendly face and an attempt at cooking some Canadian food. I am pretty quiet going in and out, respectful of any place that I stay at, and I clean up after myself.
