(Unfortunately not hosting at the moment due to a chronic case of being out of the country...and not having a house.)
I'm new to Couchsurfing and hoping to make some pretty rad memories with new friends and new experiences.
I'm a slightly absurd person who talks too fast about things I like and will look at you blankly when asked about my future plans. I'm currently doing the travelling thing and pretty much want to do that forever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and I love people and I want to see and get to know the cities through people who live there. I want to see all the unknown things and all the secrets tucked away. Of course I will want to take all the usual photos and maybe even wear a fanny pack at all the usual tourist cliché spots too. Gotta be done.

Interests

I wish I had something interesting and cool to put here but in reality not really. I like to be inside and draw and paint, hang out and watch TV etc. But I also like to be out and about hiking, sight seeing and pretending I'm a lot fitter than I actually am in the great outdoors too.

This was a pretty large section originally as I am pretty passionate about the things I like but decided to condense it to:
"I like a lot of stuff, most of it dorky"

This saves time and my dignity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've swam with whales, dolphins and sharks...not at the same time. I'm, unfortunately, not Aquaman.

Those are some pretty awesome memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

There's not really much of any interest I could teach.
I could teach you to swear like a sailor in Welsh. maybe?
Or bore you to death with my opinions of ancient Egyptian mythology (Set was totally misjudged, you guys).
In theory, thanks to my degree if we found a skeleton I could help you to identify it but quite frankly if we were in that situation determining it's sex would be a lower priority than running away sharpish.

On the other hand I want to learn pretty much all the things so literally anything you want to impart will be seized upon with glee.
