ABOUT ME

I am a strong willed, fun loving, free, curious, adaptable, flexible, contagiously gleeful, persuasive, brutally honest, but most of all loving young lady who wants nothing more in life than to be happy within myself and to bring happiness to those around me. Nothing is more important to me than my family and friends, and I am always looking to expand that group. To write all my interests would be impossible, as EVERYTHING can be interesting to me if propositioned in the right way. My goal in life is to learn as much as possible, to understand what I have learned, and to accept even those things that I can't always understand. As for the more day to day things, I am a non-smoking, meat eating, clean freak .... but all of these things are just for me, so if you are different, it is not a problem!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am travelling, but will be opening up my home in Canada to Couch Surfing as soon as I return in October of 2010.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am completely new to couch surfing, but am hoping that soon I can fill this space with some positive stories!

Interests

History - The happenings of the past never cease to amaze me.
Languages - I am currently learning German, I can speak a little French and Spanish and Russian, but in my life I hope I can learn something totally out of the usual linguistics box. At one point I really wanted to be a translator.
Reading - I love the classics in any genre be it scifi or mystery or romance... anything Ernest Hemingway, Tolstoy, Jane Austin, Tolkein. Maybe its not considered a classic YET but you can add me to the list of Harry Potter lovers!... I know that is all quite a mixed list of literature, but I like to keep things interesting!
Travelling - I don't think you can ever travel too much
Music - A mother who wished me to someday be a fabulous pianist taught me to love classical music. But that isn't to say that I don't love a good Rolling Stones or Beatles album! Currently I am loving the fresh and crazy sounds of Lady Gaga and Rihanna, but I am just as easily tempted by the smooth and tasteful sounds of Michael Buble, and appreciate the power in the voice of Josh Groban. I also love to sing, but if you ever want to hear me my best and ONLY performances are given in the shower... :)
