ABOUT ME

We're a couple who's trying to satisfy the urge we have to do everything, all at once, right now. We're in our mid-twenties and make our home in a kick-ass neighborhood in Washington DC, which we love to share with people. We've got some serious wanderlust which is took us to New Zealand for a few months in late 2008 and to South America in December '09 and January '10.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've enjoyed meeting CSers on our travels and hosting at home... we aren't super active, but we've had fun when we made time to get involved.

兴趣

We like exploring as whim grabs us, finding ourselves feeling at home in unexpected places, and reaping the rewards of those sometimes-awkward first conversations with strangers. We like knowing that there are always new things to see and experience, even in places we've been for years.

音乐、电影和书籍

Becky's list of favorite books is long and probably boring and pretentious, seeing as she was an English major. (Her favorite authors are Dave Eggers and Shakespeare, see?) Jonathan reads a lot of science fiction. We both have Kurt Vonnegut-shaped spots in our hearts.

Jonathan likes a pretty eclectic mix of music referred to him by his dollar-CD-bin-loving friends. Becky's music collection focuses pretty extensively on girls with guitars, especially those of the poetic and depressing acoustic variety.
