I'm from NC but have spent a considerable chunk of my life on the move. Before I came to Denver I called Berlin, Austin, and Hawaii home. Texas made me love the sun and fear flash floods and political conversations. Hawaii made me fall in love with the ocean and transformed me into an awkward surfer. Berlin taught me to stand up for myself and stand my ground on my bike.

I can get along with most people but I most appreciate witty sarcasm accompanied by a big heart. Being 5', sometimes I find myself staring at tall people and hoping that they'll notice me walking below them. It's odd, but it's true. I've always been fascinated by tall people.

I listen to music religiously and I'm moved by discordant, droning sounds. I am an avid bike rider both in and out of the city. I love being active and outside, hiking and swimming in the sea. I shy away from hyperactive and unfocused communicators. I love bakeries, a well-crafted brew, sweet potatoes, writing, coral reefs, plants and mountains. I have a strong appreciation for art and I find a lot of creative inspiration in films, comics, paintings and photography. I cook for people to fulfill an intrinsic need for care-taking.
