I love the idea of meeting locals, experiencing local culture from an inside perspective, and making connections with people from all walks of life. As a less-than-wealthy young person, potential free/cheap accommodation is also a big plus haha

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My all-time favourite band is Lake Street Dive! But to give you an idea of the variation in my tastes I listen to all sorts from Scary Pockets to Y La Bamba, Rex Orange County to Loma, Pinegrove to Digable Planets, L.A. Salami to Susan Tedeschi, Fairport Convention to Dan Reeder... the list goes on and on! I think there's a sound to be enjoyed in pretty much every genre and I love exploring new music. I make a new playlist on Spotify every month for all the new songs I've found that month :)

I love feel-good films. Anything that makes you feel warm fuzzies is probably right up my alley. Same goes for books.

I can teach you everything I know about skincare and makeup, and give you instagram-worthy eyebrows if you want (I have a diploma in beauty therapy)!
I can draw with you, have a jam session (I really only sing but I'll noodle with some instruments), and tell you stories about my Thailand days and the places I've visited. I'd love to learn more French!!

I make a mean guacamole and an edible freehand chilli. I'll do whatever chores you ask me to and only complain about cleaning the toilet in my head, never out loud. I will be the person to kill that spider you don't want to go near (I'll be freaking out too, but that's okay, I will take one for the team). I will play any board game, but I'm a pretty sore loser so you might have to let me win. I can draw things for you, like your portrait or a tattoo design. And I give really nice hugs.
