Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Break the boundaries of my comfort zone. See the beauty in everyday life. Try something new everyday.
ABOUT ME
I love to learn and explore the world inside and out. While I traveled a bunch during and after college, I've spent the last few years in grad school focused on studying the brain and developing treatments for autism. Now I yearn to get beyond the walls of a research lab to explore cultures, people, foreign foods, and nature once again (and I have 2 months before starting a super cool new job in Washington DC).
PHILOSOPHY
Smile and embrace the challenges that life throws at you, as they are opportunities in disguise.
Learn something new everyday.
Ask questions about the beautiful nature that surrounds us.
Do your part to care for our planet and the people here with you.

Run by Ann Patchett or any of her books based on a philosophy than people are innately good and generous.
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series for its suspense!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
*Sunrise at the Taj Mahal with my two best friends. I don't consider myself a religious person, but there is certainly something spirtual about this marvelous site with the beauty of sunrise.
*Watching the look on my mom's faces as the boat pulled away without us (you'll have to ask for the details)
Teach, Learn, Share
* Yoga - especially my new favorite pose, the headstand! The key there is not being afraid to fall over (and then transfering this courage to other parts of your life and trying new things).
* Cooking - inspired by the local farmers' markets! What can I bring for dinner?
* Science diplomacy - Advaces in science and technology can be shared between nations to improve quality of life and promote cultural understanding.
* Neuroscience - Wonder how the brain works?
