ABOUT ME

I think of myself as a philosopher and passive observer of the human condition but who knows what you'll see in me. I honestly am excited to gain new insight and perspectives through couchsurfers.

PHILOSOPHY

First, after sustaining yourself physically, you must cause no harm as consciously as you are possible to. If you get to where you can cause no harm without trying or thinking about it then try causing good.

I also have opinions about 'the other' or 'not us'.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been to a few of the monthly meet ups in Greenville before I was actually a member and since my roommate is a moderator I've met many interesting surfers from around the world before joining. Hope to repeat those experiences in the Future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. Refer to previous thinger. Though my trip to Belgrade in late September was truly educational and eye opening. It's the meeting people I didn't know I could relate to but related to anyway that's been the best.

Interests

Avid beer lover here and amateur homebrewer. I enjoy cooking or just grilling every now and then as well. I have an intense love for comics, as in sequential art, and just a slightly less intense love for comedy. Stories and fiction in general are something I put alot of importance in as I'm often too ready to allow a well told morale influence my personal philosophy.

Music is always a part of me. I'm listening to it constantly whether it's playing or not. Rocks, pops, folks, dance, experiments, classics, hiphops, it's all good to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Book, Watership Down. Considered a high school book I know but it's impotant to me. I'm fairly well read though specifically within seminal sci-fi works.

Music, I love it but I'm very opinionated about what I like a don't like. To me there is something to love in all genres of music 'cept maybe jam bands. Was in a college radio as a DJ so I've exposed to and choose to keep discovering music that is outside of the mainstream.

Movies, I use to watch many movies. Been a while since I've sat in front of something really special til I saw Beasts of the Southern Wild recently. That's my kind of movie.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am basically talentless besides my ability to make homemade beer and explain the importance of one text over another in relation to graphic literature history.

Though I also have an above average knowledge of wine and wine like libations.
