ABOUT ME

I'm 25 years old and ready to spread my wings. But until then, I am a student at the local college in the "lovely" town of Brainerd. I love animals more than people. I have a dog, Atticus and a cat L.E. Mae. I going to be going to school where I will major in photography. My passion!I am insanely close to my family, which is probably why I am still living at home. I believe everything happens for a reason. And that we meet who we meet, when we meet them for a reason.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a couch if that's what your asking but if you are ever in town and want to grab a bite to eat or get a cup of coffee, I'm game. I can show you around this grand town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couched surfed with my friend down in Minneapolis and St. Paul, met some great people. I'm excited to go other place and meet more people.

Interests

Being around people, I have grown a lot in the last year. I have become not as shy. I love traveling and I hope to do it more one day for a job. I just want to see the world. I love photography, reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends. I have a new love of kayaking. I adore cooking and thought about going to school for it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Inglourous Basterds, My Sisters Keeper, Little Miss Sunshine,Across the Universe, In Her Shoes, Black Swan, Going the Distance, Anything by John Hughes, Anything with Audrey Hepburm. Really, this list could go on and on.
TV Shows: Gilmore Girls, Six Feet Under, Modern Family, The Bachelor/ette (my guilty pleasure)
Music: Mumford and Son, He is We, Greg Laswell, Adele, James Morrison, Elton John (I recently saw him in concert, swoon) I have a thing for musical soundtracks, Rent, Hairspray, Wicked. Michael Jackson, Alphabeat. I like anything really.
Books: Anything Jodi Picoult and Sophia Kinsella (or Madeline Wickham.) I tend to go for chic lit. I would love to start reading more real life stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to London and Paris. I went with a class 2 semesters ago and fell in love with both thoses places. I am debating whether or not to go again with the class again. I saw dogs being born and helped clean them. My old dog had epilepsy and couldn't use her back legs. So I would hold her back so she could "walk." And after awhile she could walk on her own. My recent dog I bottle fed when I got him. By doing this I believe we have an exceptionally amazing bond.
I've seen people go through their worst and come out thriving and being just as amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you how to cook. I make some wicked lo mein amongst many other things. I can still play the clairnet a bit so if you really feel like learning I could try to teach you.
Learn: I want learn as much as I can. I am dying to learn Italian.
Share: I don't have a couch to share but I can share my company. :)
