ABOUT ME

hey!

My name is Emily Schreck (yes, Schreck like the movie). I am an American girl currently living in Australia on a one year working holiday visa.

I graduated with a liberal education in Women's Studies from an awesome college in a mountain town in North Carolina, and then set out to take on the world.

Here's some things I like:

I am an avid photo-taker and I'm addicted to instagram. I speak fluent Chinese. I happened to get a cool job at a zoo by luck and developed a love of crocodiles. Now I work at a croc farm on an island that's home to the world's largest croc. I get to Fred and handle them.

I am a creator and I LOOOVE to knit, crochet, embroider, craft, stencil, photograph, dance, sing, act, and other creative type things.

I'm pretty freakin' liberal. although i believe everyone is entitled to feel and think what they like. I'm open to everyone's ideas and opinions. ^_^

I spend my days reading and knitting, going to thrift shops, laying in the sun and taking photos.

Currently living a philosophy passed on to me from a friend:

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've been blessed to have a great following on instagram and then seen my photos published in a magazine.

I've also fed 4.5meter crocodiles- LOTS

And been worked on the great barrier reef

And been on TV in front of 500,000 Chinese people performing a song about wanting to marry a Chinese man.
