Hello! My name is Bekka and I am currently traveling through Central and South America. I am a physically active and fun-loving person that enjoys hiking, biking, camping, and other outdoor activities. I graduated from SF State with a degree in Environmental Science, and I enjoy volunteering and working on eco-projects. I love exploring new areas and learning about different cultures. Also, I'm trying to learn Spanish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing because it's a great way to meet interesting, open locals who know the best places to see in their communities! It's a different experience than staying in hostels or hotels because, in those places, you tend to be around more travelers and explorers like yourself rather than people from the community in which you are staying.

Interests

I spend a lot outdoors, so I would say a lot of my interests are held in exploring nature and its beauty. I love going to live shows of any kind. I don't have one main genre I hold myself too, so if there is any music being played, I'm usually enjoying it. I like to socialize so meeting new people is a must for me.
