Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Because I'm a broke-ass college student who would rather invite a host out to lunch than spend the money on a hostel.

Also, I like to have a local contact who knows his home that can show me around the city or at least tell me about the area. I trust the word of a local more than internet reviews.

And I like to be that local. If you ever visit my city of Ljubljana or the nearby area and need a drink and some info, hit me up. I want to meet interesring people.

Intereses

I've always loved to play basketball, it's the only sport my clumsy self is actually good at and I also like watching it, although i do prefer NBA for the drama.

Same goes for chess, my father tought me when I was little but stopped playing once I started beating him. I'm not as good as I used to be, but I'm still up for a game anytime.

Chess is probably what molded my appreciation for a good board game like Catan, Cluedo, Citadels etc. My latest obssesion is Dungeons and Dragons, which I never thought I'd be a fan of, but got hooked on by the first time I played.

All of my hobbies like to be supplemented by a dose of good beer, my regular ones being a dark Kozel or our slovenain Laško. If I'm traveling I'll definetly be trying out the local drinks and food.

I like all styles of music, from jazz and blues to pop and rock to metal and alternative, but for me nothing beats hiphop. I grew up on rap, starting with Eminem and quickly spread my interests to Pac, Biggie, Wu-tang, Jay, Kanye, Snoop and Nate Doggs, Ice Cube with NWA, Mos Def, Mobb Deep (RIP Prodigy), Gang Starr, Atmosphere, The Four Owls, MF Doom and on and on and on it goes and never stops.
I love discovering new artists and sharing good songs I know.

Música, películas y libros

I think I've told you enough about my taste in music so let's skip that.

Just like with music though, I also appreciate all movie genres. My favourite are the horror movies so shitty they make you laugh, but I like all sorts of movies.
Off the top of my head there's Green Mile, Reservoir Dogs, Law Abiding Citizen, Cube. Then there's TV shows like GoT, Westworld, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Bojack Horseman...

As for books, I've kind of put them aside for a while now which I regret a little, but I'm trying to get back into reading a lot. My favourite books would have to be The Genesis by Bernard Beckett or the Bartimaeus Triology by Jonathan Stroud.

I'm definetly not a musician, I'm practically tone deaf so I can't teach anything, but I love sharing my taste in music with others and absorbing theirs.

What I can teach you though is how to play the afformentioned DnD role playing game, which can be as goofy and fun or as serious and dark as the players make it.

I can also teach some basic Bosnian which might be usefull if you ever find yourself in the balkans, since pretty much every country here speaks the same language which we call "Naše" (ours).
