I was born in Sydney and completed my schooling there, and then felt I wanted to 'go out west' and work in a remote town in outback Australia at the pub. I enjoyed meeting all the people that came through the door, sharing experiences and strangely running into people I know through crazy connections .
I've spent the last four years in Mount Isa, Queensland with my job - going out to cattle stations (rediculously huge farms) and doing educational play with early childhood in the form of playgroups on their station. So many hours spent in the car travelling, staying at people's houses that we don't know and educating their children- I love seeing how each family has different routines and ways of living in these remote parts of Australia.

I compete in Irish Dancing at home (against all the little kids as unfortunately I happen to be the oldest who does it in my town)
I play soccer (or football for some) and have done so for seven years.
My job has taken me across outback Australia which I love!
