Overview
About Me
I've met with foreign people from all around the World since I was a teenager , and later on in my adulthood I discovered that by far the best way of understanding life and people is to learn about and from different cultures, that is clearly and easy explained in the fabbles :
" The six blind men and the elephant".
“The Man, His Wife, The Donkey, And The Critics”
I love meeting FOREIGNERS so I can learn about their cultures and open my mind
AND PRACTICE ENGLISH
I lead a kind of quiet and light life where experiences matter far more than accumulating assets (or material things) while working long hours shifts , or I do it for a while and then I compensate it travelling for some months.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel all around the World having real human contact with locals and their culture rather than travelling as most of tourists do : going just for a week or two to the nicest Hotels and restaurants they can afford and visiting the must sees but having zero contact with locals beyond purchasing goods or services . And to host foreigners in my flat while I cannot travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Having seen Buenos Aires city from a lighthouse in Colonia ,Uruguay through binoculars.
Having seen Río from the planes before landing, contemplated many sunrises and sunsets along the Brazilian coastline , hiked to almost every corner every single day for more than a year in many Brazilian cities and villages along the coast line in my sort of " Sabbatic Year".
Having almost drowned twice in three minutes...in La Barra , Punta del Este , Uruguay ... it was eye opening , enlightening or thought provoking .
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning and talking even philosophizing about different Cultures , Ecology. A bit of history , sociology ....
Amir Klink , navegante brasileiro ,1955.
