ABOUT ME

Hello, Hola, Ola, Ni Hao,

My name is Belkenia but you can call me Belle; I know my name is a bit difficult. I am of Dominican descent; born and raised in New York City. In 2007, I moved to Miami, FL to be closer to my two younger siblings and to continue my education. Miami is the place I now call home. I lived in Dalian, China as an English teacher because I wanted to experience that side of the world. I should be starting law school in the Fall of 2011. I am very outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic and supportive. I am a good listener and believe I give good advice at times. I can write forever but I will leave the details for when we meet.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep it moving. I believe you can achieve anything you set your heart too. Never mind the negativity, the racism and the set backs. Just keep it moving and believe in yourself. You can do it! ha ha

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently went on my first couch surfing experience this past April 15-16, 2011 in Jin Shi Tan, Dalian, China. It was an amazing and wonderful experience and I thank my hosts immensely for having me and showing me such a wonderful time.
