Currently at university and hoping to travel in between term times! Although its a classic 'about me' statement, I do love meeting new people and hearing their stories and philosophies, hearing about their book, music and film recommendations and generally learning more about all of the similarities and differences within the human culture! I'm happy to spend a lot of time with new people I meet, I love other people's company and would generally rather have more people around than less, but equally I enjoy being independent and understand that a lot of people need space and time to themselves!

Couch surfing seems like the ideal way to travel, not only on a lower budget but also being able to meet people who know more about the place you are staying, making any trip more interesting and making learning more about the place easier. Staying with someone who can not only recommend tourist attractions but also places which may be more known to locals would be great!
