Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m a personal trainer/yoga teacher currently exploring the world with a backpack and an open mind. I study math and computer science at the University of Toronto but come alive when I’m moving—wrestling, diving, climbing , or anything that challenges me physically and mentally. I’m curious by nature, independent, and always up for learning something new (or unlearning something old).
I enjoy meaningful conversations more than parties, and I try to be a respectful, easygoing guest who’s mindful of space, energy, and shared moments.
Currently traveling through France, Spain, and Portugal until July, then heading toward the Caribbean. Open to last-minute plans and spontaneous detours!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To connect—not just pass through. Hotels can’t offer stories or shared tea or last-minute advice from someone who lives what I’m just passing by. Couchsurfing makes travel feel human.
Interests
Adventure with meaning. Diving, climbing, martial arts, psychology, learning how different people see the world. I like deep dives—into water, ideas, or conversations. Always chasing growth.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: The Little Prince, Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind, The Three-Body Problem—and anything that blends raw honesty with insight or stretches the boundaries of how we think.
Movies: Zootopia gets me more than it should. Synecdoche, New York is another example—I’m drawn to films with layered characters, inner tension, and emotional risk.
Music: Depends on the mood—sometimes melancholy instrumentals, sometimes chaotic pop, sometimes silence.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went diving in the Blue Hole in Dahab—deep blue, the reef, and the silence. It was more than beautiful—it was humbling. There’s something about floating through an ancient void that makes you reflect on your place in the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Mandarin (native), calculus, sports and computer stuff, travel hacks, or how to move with intention.
Learn: new ways of living, local culture , stories that aren’t mine.
Share: my experiences, a good laugh, and a sense of calm—plus, I clean up well and don’t take up much space.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m low-maintenance, tidy, and grateful. I can cook, help with chores, swap stories, or simply respect your space and rhythm. I bring good energy, stay flexible, and try to leave people smiling.
