CURRENTLY TRAVELLING - NOT ABLE TO HOST

I’m trying out the digital nomad lifestyle working as an online teacher for German as a foreign language - currently traveling through Central America until summer 2024 approx! Places on my bucket list: Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Guatemala, Mexico (:

I'm very fascinated by languages and hearing the sound of a foreign language around you while traveling is one of the most simple and yet most beautiful travel experiences to me.
Apart from languages, I'm also very much into music - my main instrument is the piano and I'm about to start some jazz studies in Cologne. Also, I bought a ukulele not long ago and am excited for it to be my long-time travel companion.
For the past couple of years, I've been mainly traveling together with my boyfriend which I've always enjoyed very, very much. As work-wise it got more complicated for us to find common vacation time, I'm very curious to go back to solo traveling every now and then!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to give back the hospitality and kindness that people have shown me throughout my time in Spain and Portugal.
I'd like to get to know different kinds of people, cultures and I love the excitement and joy that comes with it. :) Also, it's a great way for me to practice my languages!

Music, it's my passion and it's what keeps me happy throughout the day. Lately listening to a lot of funk and soul but also a fan of acoustic, latin jazz, rock, classic... pretty much a bit of everything! Current favourite: VULFPECK

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked for hours through a river to get to a waterfall close to Nerja, Spain! What a day!
After years of thinking about it, finally bought a ukulele and it already feels like one more body part of me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some German, some piano, we could jam together or cook some yummy food together. What I'd love to learn? I'm like a little sponge, I'm happy to absorb any kind of knowledge, be it about you and your country, about astrophysics or the best way to wash my hair. :-)
