Hi all! I haven’t been on Couchsurfing since my gap year in 2019 and I am excited to meet friends through this app again! I traveled a lot during a break from school, and now I am an engineer in Minnesota. Traveling, seeing new places and meeting new people is so how I recharge so I take trips as often as I can. I love anything active. Hiking, swimming, surfing, yoga. I could walk around a new city for an entire day and be totally content.

I think the best way to experience a culture is to see how they live. Couch Surfing allows me to understand whatever place I visit better and meet some amazing people while doing so. I love hearing the local’s reasons why they love their home. I like to listen to how they feel about their country’s politics, people, anything! The main reason I am here is to take away something other than selfies or meaningless tours through attractions that tell me nothing about the country itself.
