ABOUT ME

I sold everything and packed a bag for South East Asia in April 2011. I'm been wandering about since then with the goal of making a home for myself in Hanoi. I'm slowly making my way up north through this crazy adventure of traveling. The best part of my travels has been meeting other travelers, expats, and locals to share in the experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Humility. When I humble myself to ask for help I open the door for connecting with another human being in a unique and meaningful interaction. That is what brings joy to my life - engaging with another person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met a few people along my travels who've been generous with their time and knowledge. As I develop my database of local knowledge, I would love to pass it along to other newcomers, travelers, exchange tips with expats. For me, a new place can be overwhelming and the new friends I make and the interactions I have with other people make all the difference in my enjoyment of traveling. I would like to help others enjoy their travels, moves, and everyday life in whatever way I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a newbie! The people I've met randomly who've been connected with CS have all been sincere and friendly. I look forward to meeting many more CSers as we journey together.

Interests

Currently interested in all things Vietnamese - acquiring the language, learning the history, meeting new friends. I greatly enjoy art, in all forms, especially the art museums and galleries. I also enjoy a nice afternoon/evening in the A/C at the cineplex!
