ABOUT ME

Easy going, friendly, open minded, flexible, caring, try to be thoughtful, very loyal to friends. I have a sense of humour, or at least try not to take everything too seriously.

Not a wild partier - meaning if you're in town to party, then I'm not your best bet :)

Partying aside, I do like to go out and have fun with friends - going dancing, dinner/brunch, drinks, shopping... anything in the company of friends!

PHILOSOPHY

I've been fortunate enough to have a wide range of experiences in my life that have shown me how to be more open minded to different ways of life, to know that every person's perspective comes from the experiences they have had in their life and to respect that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is still very new to me! I've just hosted my first surfer and think I will really enjoy this :)

Interests

I enjoy exploring neighbourhoods, being with friends. I like going to museums and art galleries either by myself or with friends. Really like live music and theatre.

Love trying new restaurants - whether it's a 5 star restaurant or a hidden hole-in-the-wall kind of place, I'll try just about any food at least once!

I paint, but I'm not very good so it's really just for my own amusement :P

Oh and wine and cheese! St. Andre cheese, with a Riesling or Gewurztraminer wine, green grapes, pecans and French bread with honey.... heavenly.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music by different artist (except hard rock or heavy metal - don't like how it sounds).

I like classical, new age, pop, jazz, eighties rock. Love the 'golden oldies'! The Beatles, Beach Boys... too long of a list.

But more than anything, I truly, deeply love Neil Diamond.

Books - well, once I discovered books and the many, many worlds they open for you to explore, I haven't stopped reading and I'll read anything. Seriously... including the cereal box.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky diving. Just thinking about it gives me a rush!

Visiting Italy and seeing the art that has inspired me for years.
