我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I heard about this site a few years ago when a friend so kindly invited me to a CS friends yearly retreat at his cabin. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, but it opened my eyes to a whole new way to meet interesting folks. I've now couch surfed in Southern CA and various parts of Florida. The amazing hosts and friends I've met inspire me to get even more involved with this community!

I love music! There is not one genre or one artist I could classify as my favorite; I sing my heart out to a lot of soul and indie rock, I respect Portugal the Man, Elliott Smith, Wu-tang, pretty much everything Thom Yorke has ever released solo (and with Radiohead), and Led Zeppelin. Devil Makes Three, Streetlight Manifesto, and That One Guy are fabulous acts to catch live. I had a blast seeing Pretty Lights and Alabama Shakes. If you know of amazing music of any genre, please show me!

Stranger in a Strange Land is amazing. My favorite book is Steel Beach.

Adopted a rescue animal who now is the light of my life!
Also, got open water scuba certified on Dominica. I was the only person to earn my certification and make it through out of my entire class!
