CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is life is to be an art student in Paris France!!

ABOUT ME

Unfortunately - occasionally, from time to time - I can be a little scatterbrained and things don't happen exactly when they should...or a few days after that...but, being that I'm all too willing to give up sleep and eating in order to ensure I meet a deadline, others are rarely affected by this.

My name is Belle, and I make art.

I also like to travel around the world, dress all in black in a costume-like manner, dye my hair strange colors, bake cupcakes and wear red lipstick.

I'm generally by myself as I enjoy watching people interact with one another and their environments, but of course enjoy the company of friends or family.

I own FAR too many books, and if I were to get rid of all my books, and maybe a third of my art supplies, I could probably fit everything I own into a single carry-on bag - and often do.

I'm generally unnecessarily up-beat and rather hard to anger and love meeting up with new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I'm jumping from couch to couch until I get a dorm room when the school year starts - but as soon as I'm settled my couch will be open to others :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only couch surfing I've done so far has been with friends and family which - luckily - has all turned out really well.
There's been a couple times where friends have had some pretty interesting roommates but it all ends up as a good story in the end.

Interests

These are a few of my favorite things: Painting, drawing, reading, skipping, baking cupcakes, high-fives, hugs♥, blogging, people watching - particularly tourist watching, using the metro, learning really nerdy things, going to museums, wearing unnecessarily large skirts, wandering around Europe, riding on trains, waiting in line to buy tickets to something, watching movies, making art, reading about art, looking at art - pretty much all of it. Also, science, classical literature, red lipstick, movies with complicated plot lines, clothing that ties, dressing up, picnics, mug shots and scientific/archeological expeditions from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries, ancient cultures, creepy short stories and unicorns

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE music and have yet to find a type of music that I won't listen to. I also love books but I'm a little more picky with those - if it's a classic, I generally love it. Especially when it's about France (Three Musketeers, Count of Monte Cristo, Tale of Two Cites) or some sort of prediction of the future (1984, Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451)
