ABOUT ME

I was a teacher until I turned 30 years old. Call it 30-year-old crisis, but in March 2005 I quit my job and flew to Miami 2 days later. I've been on the move ever since. I'd done quite a bit of traveling before, but certainly not enough! I just didn't want to get old inside a classroom, not my thing anymore. It had stopped making me happy, I wanted to feel alive, I wanted to be myself. That's when I started to really live...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My small family and I have surfed couches and met wonderful people all over Eastern Europe and the Middle East. On our way we made fantastic friends, the type your heart breaks when you have to say goodbye. I never thought we'd find such a large number of great people, one host after the other, all of them great.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some recipes from around the world and I'm always looking forward to learning to make new foodstuffs -when I go back to my family I always cook for them and explain where and who from I learned this wonderful dish, THEY ALWAYS LOVE IT.
