ABOUT ME

"If you tell me what you eat, I will tell you who you are"
I like eating. I can eat anything. That pretty much sums it all. I like to try and discover new things. I always go for the new and/or unusual. I'm always willing to go on a new journey, whether it be climbing the most perilous mountain of China or eating live raw octopus.

I believe I am a fairly easy person to get along with, and I am not very difficult (especially not about food!) I hope to be able to make many friends all over the world, and hopefully keep these meaningful friendships for life.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in people. If I accomplished something great, it wasn't because my horoscope said so, but because I did it with my own two hands. If I fail at something, or if I'm bad at something, it just means that it's a learning experience, and I've got to try harder.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe that sharing with others is a unique experience, and couch surfing looks like a great way of sharing stories and experience with people that might have a lot in common, but that might not otherwise meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Japan, Thailand and Turkey, and have hosted some couch surfers in Japan and DR Congo. Every time the experience has been amazing! I have made so many great people with so many different backgrounds and interests, and it has been really enriching. I am looking forward to meeting more people.

Interests

I have many hobbies and interests. Asides from the usual ones (reading, watching movies, listening to music, etc.), I would say that my hobbies are:
1. Discover new dishes
2.Outdoors: Camping, hiking, trekking, skiing, etc.
3. Traveling!
I also like to indulge in a nice meal and drinks with good friends on a sunny patio...

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: depends on my mood, but mainly fiction, history and books on contemporary world issues.
My favorite movie has yet to come to life, books are always better in my mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Cherry Blossoms in Japan.
-Climbing Mount Chimborazo in Ecuador and Mount Fuji in Japan.
-Jetskiing in Malaysia.
-Milking a buffalo in Nepal.
-Jumping off waterfalls in Thailand.
-Eating goat at roadside stalls in DR Congo.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have studied various languages, so anyone with an interest in languages or literature is welcome to share their thoughts with me. I also love to share opinions and ideas about international policies and/or politics, the world, cultural differences, etc.
